2006-07 Review

All of us, or none of us

The 2007 Battlers Soar to New Heights

A strong desire to compete at a high level against the top baseball programs in the West Virginia Conference and within the NCAA-II North Atlantic Region provided the Alderson-Broaddus College baseball program with the incentive needed to achieve a record-setting 2007 season.

Twelve lettermen that shared in the first overall winning season in program history, and tied for the 4th most improved team in NCAA-II baseball in 2006, led an effort that resulted in a school record, 27-10 (.729) campaign.

Since inheriting a program one year removed from a 9-32 season, head coach Milan Rasic has realized a two-year record of 45-25 (.642) with the Battlers.

The Battlers will miss the contributions of seniors Joel Aguirre, Eduardo Castro, Mike DiGiacomo, Matt Stratton, Mike Torres, and Brett Twigg.  They will leave the program having all played significant roles in enhancing and developing A-B Baseball the past two seasons.
