Non A-B Scholarship OpportunitiesDepartment of Health and Human Services - Disadvantaged Students Scholarships Nursing Applications for the Scholarship for Disadvantaged Students from the Department of Health and Human Services are available for 2008-2009. Students must be enrolled full-time in the PA Program and U.S. citizens. To be eligible students must come from a low income household based upon their parent's 2007 income. Regardless of age, marital status, dependent or independent eligibility is based upon parent income. Students must complete the form and verification and attach proof of parent income. All application materials must be submitted to the Financial Aid Office by September 12, 2008. Click here for the physician assistant scholarship application. Radiography The George and Virginia Pauley Scholarship is available for students who
are a member in good standing of a church in the Teays Valley Association,
Kanawha Valley Association, or Hopewell Association of the West Virginia
American Baptist Conference. Students must submit a letter of recommendation
from the student's pastor or board of deacons attesting to membership and good
standing to the financial aid office. The recipient must have financial need and
be in good academic standing. A listing of qualifying churches is available in
the financial aid office. Nelnet Scholarship Nelnet, a student loan company, is offering a scholarship giveaway. They
will draw one scholarship each month up to $25,000. They are also giving 750,
