The Alderson Broaddus University Secretarial and Clerical Association (ABSCA) has awarded its annual scholarship to Kellie Satterfield of Philippi, WV.
A graduate of Philip-Barbour High School, Satterfield is seeking a double major in family studies and psychology with a minor in education. Her goal is to work with children and adolescents who have had traumatic childhood experiences and to teach parenting classes.
She is the daughter of Harry and Barbara Satterfield.
