Alderson-Broaddus Men’s Cross Country Earns Sixth Place Finish at WVIAC Championship, Mundey Earns Honors
GREENSBURG, Pa. -- Alderson-Broaddus men’s cross country earned a sixth place finish and junior John Mundey raced to Second Team All-Conference honors Saturday at the West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championship.
“John ran really well and the team really packed it up to help us finish sixth,” said Head Coach Jesse Weiner. “Freshmen Conner and Bryant really came through in their first conference meet!”
Mundey led the Battler pack and completed the 8k in 16th place. The Berkley Springs, W.Va., native finished the race in 29:15.85 en route to postseason honors.
The Battler men tied Davis & Elkins accumulating 186 points.
