Kimberly Klaus, former Director of Admissions at Alderson Broaddus University, has been appointed as Interim Dean of Enrollment Management at the College. The appointment was made by Dr. J. Michael Clyburn, President.
As Interim Dean of Enrollment Management, Klaus will be responsible for the College's enrollment management leadership, including developing, supervising and implementing a comprehensive student enrollment management plan in support of the College's mission. She will be responsible for the leadership and development for all admissions and financial aid staff and programs at AB University.
"Kim's innovation and positive spirit as the chief enrollment officer will serve AB University well as we move forward with increased enrollments," said Dr. Clyburn. "She has served AB University long and well. She has created and implemented new strategies to enroll students from a larger region for AB University."
Klaus has worked at AB University for 16 years. She attended Potomac State College and West Virginia University, where she obtained a BS in Business Administration and Marketing. She earned a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership Studies from WVU.
Prior to serving as Director of Admissions at AB University, Klaus also served as Assistant/Associate Director of Admissions at the College, Assistant Director of Marketing at Huntington Banks, Admissions Counselor at The Ohio State Agricultural Technical Institute, and as an admissions counselor for DH Dagley and Associates at AB University.
Klaus resides in Philippi with husband, Bill Klaus, a 2002 graduate of AB University, and their son, Graham. She is the daughter of daughter of Don and Cecile Miller, of Cowen, WV.
