The single best predictor of student success at AB is participation in at least one student organization. Our 60+ recognized groups span academic societies, performance ensembles, Greek-letter organizations, faith communities, club sports, and service initiatives. Most groups meet weekly during the academic year; many host major events, travel, host visiting speakers, or take on year-round projects.
The Office of Student Engagement maintains a digital portal of all recognized organizations with calendars, contact info, and meeting times. Students can browse, join, or start a new organization (10 students and a faculty advisor are the only requirements). Each recognized organization receives an annual operating budget from the Student Government Association, with additional event funding available by application.
